Championship – Oklahoma vs. North Carolina

The Sooners have looked unbeatable during the NCAA Tournament, thanks in part to tremendous performances from senior shooting guard Buddy Hield. With the dominating success of the Oklahoma offense, the team should have little difficulty dispatching Villanova to reach the title game. On the other side of the tournament, North Carolina faces a Cinderella story in No. 10 Syracuse. The Orange slipped past Gonzaga and Virginia, but the Tar Heels pose a formidable opponent. North Carolina should easily add to its rich tournament history by advancing to the championship game.

Championship: Oklahoma vs. North Carolina

The Sooners have been strong the last couple of games, and the team will put up a competitive performance against Villanova. Once Oklahoma’s offense heats up, the team will cruise to victory and advance to the championship game. As for North Carolina, the team has a surprising challenge to face against the Cinderella story Syracuse. Unfortunately, I feel as though the Orange’s luck will run out against the Tar Heels, who will earn a double-digit victory and advance to the NCAA Tournament title against Oklahoma and standout Buddy Heild.

Championship – Oklahoma vs. North Carolina

I apologize to Syracuse fans, but the odds can only be defied for so long. North Carolina averages 20 more points per game than Syracuse, plus the Tar Heels entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed. The Orange’s top scorer, Michael Gbinjie, averages just 16 points. Meanwhile, North Carolina’s Brice Johnson scores an average of 21 points per game. Syracuse made a great run for a No. 10 seed, but Orange is just not my color this weekend. As for the other Final Four matchup, it will be a competitive game. Both Oklahoma and Villanova are No. 2 seeds, and both programs average approximately 80 points per game. Honestly, I am picking this matchup based on the strangest mascot, so the Sooners have my vote to advance to the title game. What is a Sooner anyway?

Championship: Oklahoma vs. Syracuse

The Orange are responsible for busting brackets left and right during the NCAA Tournament this year. Syracuse took down No. 1 seed Virginia in a shocking upset to advance to the Final Four. If the Orange were to win the NCAA Championship, the team would be the lowest seed in history to do so. On the other side of the bracket, Oklahoma has put on a dominating performance in every matchup. Behind Buddy Heild’s spectacular shooting, the team has experienced an easy path to the Final Four. Fans should expect to see Oklahoma and Syracuse in the final, with the improbable Orange coming out on top.
