Watching live coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing made me realize how difficult a journalist’s job can be. To stand there in the midst of the chaos, injuries and panic and report what is happening to the rest of the country with that amount of calm is an incredible feat. Makes me proud to be in the field I am.

There’s no way to make sense of tragedies like the Boston Marathon bombing. The only thing we can do is support one another while we grieve and move forward. Praying for the lives lost, the people injured and all the families affected by the bombing.
