With busy lifestyles and few resources, college students are especially looking for the simplest, quickest and tastiest ways to satisfy their hunger. An entire batch of cookies can take a couple of hours to make with all the mixing, scooping and tray-swapping that takes place, but with this easy recipe a single deep dish cookie is ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 drops of vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp. chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together butter, sugars, vanilla, and egg yolk.
  2. Add flour and salt.
  3. Mix until combined.
  4. Add chocolate chips.
  5. Put the dough into a small microwaveable bowl, ramekin, or coffee cup.
  6. Microwave for 40-60 seconds or until the cookie looks done.

Best served warm, makes 1 deep dish cookie.
