UI comedy troupe at the Artisan Barn
University of Idaho improvisational comedy group White Tie Improv will be performing at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn April 7.To create their shows, this troupe incorporates ideas and suggestions from the audience.  This unique “comedy on the fly” event is geared toward audiences of all ages. Tickets are $7 at the door.
The Dahmen Barn is located in Uniontown on Highway 195.

 

“Mad Med” Mondays continue
The Women’s Center will be delving into season two of the award-winning TV show “Mad Men” each week at 12:30 p.m. The show and following discussion will be in the Women’s Center Lounge in Memorial Gym.

STAGE enacts Prop. 8
Washington State University student theater group STAGE enacted “8,” a live reading of California’s groundbreaking Proposition 8 trial March 23 restricting marriage to gay and lesbian couples. After premiering on Broadway in September 2011, “8” is being licensed to universities and community theaters across the country to raise awareness for the trials WSU’s presentation was directed by STAGE faculty adviser Mary Trotter. WSU presented the 15th reading since the scripts were liscensed.
