The Thriving Artist Market— formerly known as the “Starving Artist Sale”— will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Vandal Ballroom at the Bruce Pitman Center.
This event is hosted by the graduate students of art and design at the University of Idaho, and it showcases artwork from both students and professional artists.
The Thriving Artist Market is a good way to see what members of the surrounding community have been working on and to support fine arts in the Palouse.
Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of handmade pieces and unique goods, such as jewelry, paintings, clay art and more.
Held every spring, this event is an opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind pieces and support the hard work of local artists.
Taking place during Parent and Family Weekend, this event would be a good place to get unique gifts for your loved ones.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
