Join one of University of Idaho’s best networking opportunities at the fall Career Fair. This event will take place in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Attendees will check into the career fair by entering the east side of the Kibbie Dome and signing in at the tables with their school information. Make sure to register for the fair on Handshake beforehand.
Each semester, UI holds a career fair, bringing hundreds of employers and organizations looking to recruit students. These fairs are great for showing your skills, gaining knowledge in your field and making connections. Students are exposed to opportunities for full time jobs, part time jobs, seasonal jobs, internships or graduate school options.
If you are looking to acquire a job, coming prepared to the career fair is important. You should arrive professionally dressed, with multiple copies of your resume to hand out to employers you are interested in, something to take notes with and a portfolio or work examples.

Professional headshots will be available for students for free. Some employers will also be conducting on-site interviews, so be prepared. If you are interested in an interview, make sure to express that to who you are interested in.
After the fair, career services will organize mass interviews for many of the organizations on campus for students who acquired interviews.
Before each career fair, UI hosts a networking night, designed for students to learn the networking opportunities in each of their colleges. On Oct. 7, you can attend the networking night for your college, held at the following times and location: College of Agricultural and Life Sciences from 5 to 7:30 p.m., in the Agricultural Biotechnology Interaction Court; College of Art and Architecture from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Best Western Plus University Inn; College of Business and Economics from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the J.A. Albertson Building Atrium; College of Engineering from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the International Ballroom of the Bruce M. Pitman Center; College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Vandal Ballroom of the Bruce M. Pitman Center.
