Six new senators were welcomed into ASUI’s senate seats at the Wednesday, Oct. 1, meeting. ASUI President Seyi Arogundade and ASUI Vice President Bryant Sitts conducted interviews throughout the week, filling spots in both the Senate positions and in the president’s cabinet.

New inductees include Sens. Logan Romans, Frances Camilli, Sofia Vakhrusheva, Samir Matato, Gunner Cavener and Charlie Peacock. All senators were officially sworn in, and a resolution officially welcoming all new seat holders, F25-R04, is currently being modified to include the new names. This resolution will be voted on next week.

ASUI meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Clearwater-Whitewater room in the ISUB. Meetings are open to the public.
