Students can learn how to apply for sustainability project grants on Friday, Oct. 3, in the ISUB’s Panorama Room.

The Student Sustainability Cooperative will share information about the Sustainable Initiatives Fund from 3-4 p.m., including requirements, eligibility and the application process.

The SSC, which focuses on campus sustainability, supports student projects with this fund and helps make students’ ideas come to life. The SSC awards up to $10,000 a year for student-led projects.

Students must attend the information session to be eligible for funding. If you are unable to attend, reach out to [email protected] to learn about your options.

The SSC offers many resources including a digital newsletter, a green living guide and the on-campus recycling program. The SSC also holds many events including the Earth Jam, Repurpose the Purge and Arbor Day Tree Climbing.

The SSC will also be hosting an invasive species cleanup of the Audubon Native Plants for Birds Pollinator Garden on Oct. 8. The event, which runs from 4-6 p.m., will be located behind the Steam Plant and next to Paradise Path by West Park Elementary School.
