The University of Idaho’s Women’s Golf Team played at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational and finished 11th place, with a total score of 74-over. This event was hosted by Seattle University at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club. First place went to Gonzaga University, who finished with a total score of 6-over.
With an 11th place finish, the Vandals ended in the bottom five of the event. The individual leader was junior Zoe Newell, who tied for 20th with a score of 5-over and a first round of 1-under. Sophomore Ella Kozak tied for 49th with a score of 13-over.
Sophomore Laura Caamano placed 61st with a score of 17-over, freshman Inkjung Charnchanayothin tied for 66th with a score of 19-over and freshman Lucy Newell tied for 69th with a score of 20-over.
Compared to the week before, where the Vandals placed fifth, this performance was a little bit of a struggle and the Vandals look to bounce back next week.

The Vandals look to turn the corner at the Sun Mountain Intercollegiate on Oct. 6, which is being held at the Ranch Club, in Missoula, Montana. In this event they will face off against Montana, Washington State, Weber State, Idaho State, Portland State and Eastern Washington University.
