The Idaho Repertory Theatre for youth have been hard at work over the summer, and now is your chance to experience “Peter Pan.”

Originally written by J.M. Barrie, this stage play adaptation by Kathryn Shultz Miller is sure to be a delight.

There will be four total performances, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday, Aug. 3. All shows are at the Hartung Theater at 625 Stadium Dr. in Moscow.

Enjoy this classic tale of adventure through a land where children never grow up. Featuring beloved characters like Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling and more, watch the friends battle the fearsome Captain Hook and his band of pirates.

“Peter Pan is a story that’s very close to my heart, and it’s been incredibly special to bring it to life,” Camp Director Christina Brandt said in a UI press release. “The campers have poured their creativity into every aspect of the production, from building the set to helping design their costumes and everything in between. I’m so proud of the creativity and dedication they’ve shown. These productions truly belong to them, and I can’t wait for the community to see what they’ve created.”

Brandt is a UI alumna who graduated with an MFA in directing in 2017. She has enjoyed returning to UI to lead IRT summer camps over the years.

Tickets are on sale now at uitickets.com. Tickets are $16 for general admission and free for children 12 and under.
