ASUI has organized an information session hosting Geoffrey Heeren of the University of Idaho College of Law Immigration Clinic. The session will be held tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the Department of Student Involvement, ISUB 302.
Following the revocation of two international student’s visas earlier this month, ASUI has voiced their support for all students on campus and expressed their commitment in ensuring students are supported with legal, factual guidance during this time.
“ASUI reinstates its consistent stance that all students, including international students, are a vital, important part of our university,” they wrote in an Instagram post, “We are all a part of the Vandal Family.”
The session will be open to anyone wanting clarity regarding international students’ rights and how the recent visa revocations will affect them and the university.
