“My Big Fat Greek Wedding” As much as a director might influence a script this film is first and foremost a Nia Vardalos picture. An original and entertaining tail of culture shock and love. John Corbett is wonderful as the love interest Ian. This film would make a great Valentine’s flick. “Pretty Woman” Staring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. A shrewd businessman and a lovely prostitute will move you with the blend of humor and romance. A film that as become a classic, Pretty Woman will make an enjoyable date movie. “Sleepless in Seattle” Starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. A recently-widowed man's son calls a radio talk show in an attempt to find his father a partner. A story that brings home this new world we live in where our only interaction is Facebook and text messaging. “Joe Versus the Volcano” Staring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. This is one of those rare films where every single character, no matter how minor, has a major impact on the hero and the plot. A fun and interesting film. “Groundhog Day” Starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. Bill Murray becomes victim of some weird supernatural fate and must adapt to the insane logic of the situation. Great film. “You've Got Mail” This movie was warm, funny, smart, and sexy. Hanks and Ryan light up the screen and Tom Hanks is the perfect hero. A very fun film that will make guys and girls happy. “When Harry Met Sally” Starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan, this film thrives most on its witty dialogue and cleverness without excessively "sentimentalizing" it. In other words — there is that perfect equilibrium between scenes of sheer poignancy and scenes of brutal comic relief. “Notting Hill” Starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Apart from the small bit of satire, Grant's character plays on the emotions of every guy who has ever unexplainably fallen in love. “Nine Months” Starring Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore, who make a great duo in this comedy. An Enjoyable flick. “The Break-Up” Starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. Take a side, his or hers and enjoy a break-up that isn’t your own. Add as favorites (81) | Views: 707
