Vertical Horizon lands on the palouse
For the first time in roughly two years, ASUI Productions
is putting on a major show. Teaming up with the Beasley Coliseum,
the Palouse will be blessed with a performance from current successes
Vertical Horizon and Nine Days. continue
'Ladies Man' follows SNL predecessors
Saturday Night Live has created yet another movie based on
one of their misunderstood characters titled "The Ladies
Man."
Starring Tim Meadows as Leon Phelps, this movie follows in the
footsteps of other skits-turned-to-movies such as "Wayne's
World" and "Superstar." The film also stars Karyn
Parsons ("Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"), Tiffani Thiessen
(90210 and Saved By The Bell), Lee Evans (There's Something About
Mary), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
and Return of the Jedi) and Will Ferrell (Superstar and fellow
SNL cast member). continue
The Black Heart Procession, here come the
waterworks
Releasing their third album, aptly titled "3," the
Black Heart Procession continue in their trademarked vein of
dark melodic rock.
In San Diego in 1997 Tobias and Paul, former members of Three
Mile Pilot, began to write and play as a two piece.

Meet the Parents a comedic heart-warmer
Love conquers all in Universal Pictures' romantic comedy "Meet
the Parents."
First, meet Gaylord (Greg) Focker (Ben Stiller), unfortunate
in the name department, but lucky in love with Pam Byrnes (Teri
Polo). Pam is a kindergarten teacher with a charming smile and
more than slight resemblance to Jodie Foster. continue
PlayStation 2 to be released next week
The PlayStation 2 will be released Oct. 26 and Sony expects
the release to be huge, although it carries a $299 price tag.
The PlayStation 2 was released in Japan on March 4 and fans went
crazy, paying $370 US for the new system. Almost every store
that carried the system was sold out by lunchtime. Todd Green,
the manager at Video Game Headquarters, says that it's hard to
tell what the system is going to do in the United States. continue
